Checkin Garbi Hotel - Calella

Great hotel with great amenities like wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and an outdoor swimming pool. On my first stay, the staff helped me with restaurant recommendations, which I remember. I highly recommend it and I'll be back for Xmas.

Exceptionally comfortable room for children to run around, has free Wi-Fi. All of the hotel's staff are great...

The staff are great and polite and deserve a 3-star rating. The location is marvellous and brilliant as it's so close to good equipped beach, the supermarkets, and all shops and eating establishments.

Nothing could have been better.

Opt for a room on the higher floors for improved sea views and less noise from entertainment below.

The front desk staff were friendly and the hotel had a nice balcony and view over the beach.

The walls were paper thin and you could hear every squeak and squidge from next door. Decidedly annoying at 2am with a noisy Italian couple... Breakfast was included in the price but was unpleasant.

I thought the price was very competitive for what we got, the view of the beach from the room was also nice.

Staff handled issues promptly and efficiently.

Unfortunately, the walls are thin, allowing every sound from adjacent rooms to disturb our peace. The furniture and bathroom fittings are dated and in desperate need of updates. Coupled with inconsistent housekeeping and noise, this hotel experience was far from relaxing.

weak insonorisation, no special way to bring your heavy luggages to the hotel - you have to lift it using the regular stairs - very uncomfortable for elderly people or people having problems with backbone, small choice of TV programs, no refrigerator in the room

Close to the beach (400m) with nice view to the sea

Train passes just in front of the hotel causing everything in the room to vibrate from 06:30 to 23:00, every 10 minutes. Under the hotel there is a big disco so in front of the hotel there are noisy people until 2:00 - 3:00 AM making it hard to fall asleep as there is a lot of noise in the street. There is no fridge in the room. Breakfast is very poor.

The sea view from my room was fine, and waking up to the sound of waves was perfect. The buffet dinner was great with a variety of delicious options. Breakfast was solid too, with fresh pastries and good coffee. I'd definitely come back!

you hear all sounds from hall, from neighbours. Especially loud sounds go throught a door between your room and neighbours room.

Location is very good, hotel is clean, fair value for the money.

Infrequent housekeeping results in cleanliness issues!!! The limited outlets make charging devices a hassle!!! Noise from neighboring rooms is unbearable and should be addressed!!!

Great view from the balcony provided you're on the fourth floor or above. Staff were helpful and arranged for us to move to a higher floor as soon as a room became available. We were also able to stay a few hours longer on the day we checked out.

The hotel is very basic - beds aren't very comfortable, there is only one socket (above the sink) and they don't provide soap/handwash.

hotel was on the beachfront and we had the roof terrace room which had fantastic views over the coast,we had a fantastic break,any thanks.
